The Energy Year and ABCKAmCham Kuwait sign MoU
KUWAIT CITY, June 16, 2025 – The Energy Year has signed an MoU with the American Business Council Kuwait (ABCKAmCham Kuwait) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering private-sector engagement and knowledge exchange across Kuwait’s energy industry and industrial sectors.
The MoU was signed by The Energy Year and Pete Swift, Chairman of the board of ABCKAmCham Kuwait, in Kuwait City. The collaboration will support the production of The Energy Year Kuwait 2025 report, the 10th anniversary edition of The Energy Year’s publication dedicated to Kuwait’s dynamic energy landscape.
ABCKAmCham Kuwait, one of the most active foreign business councils in the country, serves as a platform for fostering commercial ties between US and Kuwaiti enterprises. Under the agreement, ABCKAmCham Kuwait will support The Energy Year in accessing key US-affiliated companies and industry stakeholders operating in Kuwait’s energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.
In turn, The Energy Year will provide ABCKAmCham Kuwait members with international visibility and a platform to share insights on doing business in Kuwait, as well as opportunities to participate in strategic dialogues and showcase contributions to the country’s transformation under Kuwait Vision 2035.
Building on the success of previous editions and complementing The Energy Year’s ongoing collaborations with domestic and international business councils, the MoU with ABCKAmCham Kuwait underscores a shared commitment to advancing investment, innovation and sustainability in Kuwait’s evolving energy economy.
The Energy Year Kuwait 2025 report will be released in H2 2025 and will feature exclusive interviews and insights from energy industry leaders and stakeholders.
