Tullow picks up new Côte d’Ivoire blocks

ABIDJAN, January 18, 2018 – Tullow Oil has been awarded two new Côte d’Ivoire licences, international media reported on Wednesday.
With the addition of blocks CI-520 and CI-524, the independent holds a stake in nine licences in the country, Reuters reported.
The news came days after Tullow announced that it had closed a deal to acquire a 90% stake in licences CI-521 and CI-522 in Côte d’Ivoire, expanding a September 2017 acquisition of licences CI-518, CI-519, CI-301 and CI-302.
