UAE’s NPCC wins Abu Dhabi offshore works: report
ABU DHABI, March 5, 2021 – The UAE’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has reportedly won a contract from ADNOC for works on the Umm Al Dalkh oilfield off Abu Dhabi, just a day after its new USD 300-million contract with Aramco was reported.
The Umm Al Dalkh field is located around 20 kilometres northwest of Abu Dhabi city and just kilometres from the Umm Lulu field. It has a current production of 15,000 bopd.
On Friday, Upstream Online reported that ADNOC had placed a letter of intent with NPCC for the brownfield project.
ADNOC and NPCC have yet to confirm the deal or provide further details.
Last month, Abu Dhabi’s National Marine Dredging Company completed its merger with NPCC.
