Wood Group wins $90-mln contract in Iraq

Wood Group has secured a project management contract for an onshore facility in Iraq valued at $90 million, the company said on Thursday.

The UK oilfield services international said the deal would run for three years, but did not name the company that awarded it, only describing it as a “leading” international oil company.

“Iraq is an area where we see significant growth opportunities for our broad service capabilities and building our presence in this region is a key objective for us,” said David Buchan from company division Wood Group PSN.
