CALGARY, September 22, 2015 – WorleyParsons has won a contract to carry out fabrication, assembly and construction for the Cutbank Ridge Partnership Program’s 03-07 Tower Sweet Gas Plant Project in Canada.

Under the reported CAD164-million ($124-million) deal, the Australian company’s western Canada construction division will provide pipe fabrication, module assembly and field construction services for the gas plant.

The plant, located in northeastern British Columbia, is part of a project by the Cutbank Ridge Partnership to develop the Cutbank Ridge gas play, which holds proven reserves of around 25.5 bcm (900 bcf) of gas.

The partnership is a venture between Calgary-headquartered Encana Corporation and Cutbank Dawson Gas Resources, a subsidiary of Japan’s Mitsubishi.
