Well Services Petroleum Company

Well Services Petroleum Company (WSP) is a drilling contractor operating in Trinidad and Tobago, providing drilling and workover services for offshore and onshore projects, as well as workshop repair services. The company has provided drilling services for every oil producer that has operated in Trinidad and Tobago since its inception in 1967.

The company worked primarily with state-owned Heritage Petroleum in 2023 and recently expanded a presence in the region by working with Decker Petroleum Marketing Company – a fellow Trinidad-based company – which is operating the offshore Nickerie block in Suriname territory.

WSP primarily focuses on drilling services catering to shallow water and onshore developments. 

WSP owns a subsidiary company, Lease Operators Ltd. which also operates onshore assets in Trinidad.
