IBBC Autumn Conference

Iraq

This November the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) will be hosting members, business leaders, policy makers and other distinguished guests in London for the organisation’s annual autumn conference.

Each year the conference attracts leading figures and acts as a forum for members to be exposed to new ideas, and to meet and do business with a variety of individuals and firms who share a common interest in Iraq.

Held across two days, day one of the conference will focus on Iraq in the global marketplace. Topics will include Iraq’s regional context, governance, attracting international investment, oil and gas, and women in business. A post-conference reception will be hosted by IBBC Executive Chairman Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne.

Day two, hosted by Eversheds, will look at due diligence to enter Iraq’s market and will feature presentations by the Iraqi and British Chambers of Commerce. Both days will benefit from the participation of delegates from all of Iraq’s governorates.
