In addition, the Gas to Liquids North America conference is a networking platform for key stakeholders interested the advancements in small-scale gas-to-liquids projects, among other key aspects of the market. Held at the Houston Marriott West Loop by The Galleria hotel, the list of speakers includes representatives from BNP Parisbas, the US Energy Information Agency and ExxonMobil Research and Engineering.

Argentina Shale Gas & Oil Summit 2015

Day two will delve into the subjects of managing the environmental impact of shale exploration, supply chain management and maximising investment, among other topics. The Argentina Shale Gas & oil Summit 2015 will also feature an exhibition, giving companies the opportunity to showcase services and products.

15th International Downstream Technology & Strategy Conference

Some of the highlights of the International Downstream Technology & Strategy Conference are discussions on petrochemicals developments in Europe, Central Asia and the GCC region. More specifics topics include Repsol’s carbon dioxide emissions reduction programme and the STAR refinery integration development in Turkey.

Operational Excellence in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals

TOGY Congo-Brazzaville 2014 Launch

This first edition of The Oil & Gas Year series on the Congo-Brazzaville oil and gas industry presents an in-depth look at the key companies involved in the country’s oil and gas sector. It highlights in particular the country’s largest ongoing project, Total’s Moho Nord offshore, deep-water development.

At the event, The Oil & Gas Year held an awards ceremony to recognise the most outstanding companies and individuals operating in Congo’s oil and gas sector over the last year. Six awards were presented. The Moho Nord team from Total received the award for the Offshore Development of the Year award following the start launching of work on the project in 2014. The MKB Project, operated by Congo’s state-owned company SNPC, was awarded the Onshore Project of the Year award for its work on the largest onshore project ever undertaken by the country’s national oil company. Italian firm Eni was recognised for the country’s largest discovery of the year (1.2 billion barrels proved reserves) in 2014 at the Nené Marine field. And finally, French firm Necotrans was highlighted for its mandate to expand the river port at Brazzaville, an initiative that will open up the development of the nation’s onshore oil and gas opportunities.
