Under the umbrella of strategies for completions optimisation, the two-day event in Houston will gather executives of exploration and production companies and services firms for speakers such as Chevron’s well stimulation specialist Sahil Malhotra.

Other learning objectives include planning and scheduling, the impact of equipment lifecycles and determining the optimal inspection frequencies.

Speakers such as Chris Hughes, managing partner at Baker & McKenzie Myanmar, and Xavier Préel, general manager at Total E&P Myanmar, will discuss topics including shallow water field developments, hydraulic fracturing in Myanmar and the country’s economic outlook. The event will take place at the Sedona Hotel Yangon.

Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yıldız and Eni’s senior executive vice-president for midstream operations Marco Alverà will be among the speakers at the event, which is sponsored by Deloitte, Spectrum and East Ring.

Hosted by the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, speakers at the conference include Minister of Finance and the Economy Larry Howai, former BP CEO Lord John Browne and BP’s group head of technology David Eyton.
