Keppel O&M awarded $250-mln FPSO contracts

SINGAPORE, May 9, 2022 – Keppel Offshore & Marine has signed two contracts to integrate FPSOs worth USD 250 million, the Singaporean offshore contractor announced on Friday.
The first contract with BW Group consists of installation and integration of around 43,000 tonnes of topside modules, deck equipment and a turret mooring system. The works include completion and commissioning duties.
The FPSO’s hull is expected to arrive at the shipyard in mid-2023, with works expected to finish in H2 2024.
The second contract is with Single Buoy Moorings and its JV with McDermott for fabrication, installation and integration of topside modules for an FPSO project, including pre-commissioning and commissioning works.
The FPSO hull will arrive at the shipyard in H1 2023 and be ready for delivery in H2 2024.
Destinations for the newly fitted FPSOs were not disclosed.
