Abu Dhabi’s NPCC wins $2.23-billion Aramco contract

RIYADH, January 3, 2022 – Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded a contract worth USD 2.23 billion by Saudi Aramco for EPC works on Saudi Arabia’s giant offshore Zuluf oilfield.

The deal was revealed on Monday in a statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange by parent entity the National Marine Dredging Company, as reported by local news source The National.

 

The deal comprises two packages related to the Zuluf expansion project, according to Upstream Online.

Two other packages went to a Larsen & Toubro- Subsea 7 partnership and one other to McDermott International.

The project to expand the shallow-water Zuluf field will grow production capacity from 800,000 bopd to 1.4 million bopd.
