Emirate launches licensing round

ABU DHABI, April 3, 2018 – Ras Al Khaimah, the UAE’s northern-most emirate, announced its first oil licensing round on Monday.
Bids for four offshore and three onshore blocks are expected in November, Reuters reported.
“The blocks on offer include highly prospective exploration opportunities, an undeveloped oil discovery, and a mature gas condensate redevelopment opportunity,” the emirate’s government told the agency.
