Indonesia plans $1-bln pipeline tender

Indonesia plans to open a tender in 2018 for three pipelines to carry gas from Natuna to Borneo, the chairman of BPH Migas said Tuesday.

The project will include a USD 550-million Natuna-West Kalimantan pipeline, a USD 516-million West Kalimantan-Central Kalimantan pipeline, and a USD 97-million Central Kalimantan-South Kalimantan pipeline for distribution and transmission, Reuters reported.

The network will supply power stations in West Kalimantan and the Ketapang industrial area, BPH Migas chairman Muhammad Fanshurullah Asa said.
