Mexico-Norway consortium wins OFS contract

MEXICO CITY, July 13, 2018 – Pemex has awarded a 10-year integrated oilfield services (OSF) contract for two onshore areas in Veracruz state to a Mexican-Norwegian consortium, international media reported on Thursday.

Mexican OSF company Grupo R Operaciones Petroleras and Norway’s AGR Petroleum Services will develop the mature San Ramón and Blasillo fields once the contract is signed this month. Terms include drilling 12 wells in the next two years.

Discovered in the 1960s by Pemex, both fields produce mostly light crude.
