Nine killed in Nigeria gas explosion

ABUJA, July 17, 2017 – Nine people were killed and 10 seriously wounded in a gas tank explosion at a Linc Oil and Gas facility in southeastern Nigeria on Sunday.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined. The death toll may rise as the injuries are considered life threatening.
Accidents occur frequently in Nigeria due to poor infrastructure and fuel theft on pipelines.
