ONGC hires jackup rig for Mumbai High field

Shelf Drilling signed a three-year contract to provide India’s ONGC with a jackup rig for operations on the Mumbai High field, the Dubai-based offshore drilling contractor announced on Monday.

Operations on the Parameswara rig are set to begin in Q1 2022.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
