Qatar Chamber partners with TOGY
DOHA, November 28, 2018 – The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is partnering with The Oil & Gas Year to produce the 2019 TOGY Qatar edition, the two parties have announced.
A key outcome of the agreement will see the TOGY Qatar series of books and the TOGYiN platform report on Qatar’s business environment in light of expansion in the local energy industry.
“Against all odds, Qatar turned an unfortunate series of events into a window of opportunity,” TOGY said in a statement. “This is in no small part thanks to The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the private sector. As such, we are delighted to sign this strategic partnership with the institution that continues to lead the private sector to new heights and is playing a crucial part in making H.H. the Emir’s 2030 vision a reality.”
The Qatar Chamber is one of the oldest chambers of commerce in the GCC countries. It was established in 1963 with a view to organising trade businesses and representing the Qatari private sector locally and globally.
QC’s vision is centred on achieving leadership among the chambers of commerce in the world within the context of Qatar National Vision 2030, to be well informed of all issues relating to the business community in Qatar and the world, to be the first point of contact for all institutions and agencies from around the world and to be established and active in the dynamic world economy.
The Oil & Gas Year provides business intelligence, strategic communication and networking to the global energy industry. It is the leading oil and gas publication and covers more than 35 oil and gas markets worldwide and distributes to over 100 countries.
