Retamco exits Argentina block

Retamco’s subsidiary Retama Argentina has left the Parva Negra Oeste block in Vaca Muerta, international media reported on Thursday.

“Retama pulled out,” Alberto Saggese, president of state-owned Gas y Petroleo del Neuquen, told S&P Global Platts.

The company had won the licence in 2017, but failed to raise financing to develop it, the report added.
