The contract will involve TL Offshore, a subsidiary of SapuraKencana, performing transportation and installation of Petronas Cargali’s BSDP-A topsides; the PNJT-K jacket and topsides; the pipeline, jacket and topsides for SapuraKencana’s B15 project; as well as KNDWD Kinabalu jacket and topsides for Repsol.
Additional contracts are expected to be handed out this year for the 2018 campaign, which includes work on the Shell-E6 development as well as Petronas Carigali’s Anjung and Sepat projects.
In December 2013, Petronas handed out three contracts for the Pan Malaysia development worth USD 2.5 billion (MYR 10 billion) to TL Offshore, Barakah Offshore Petroleum subsidiary PBJV and GOM Resources.
The Pan Malaysia development includes 13 companies, including Petronas Carigali, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Shell, Repsol, Murphy Oil, Hess, <a href=’https://theenergyyear.com/companies-institutions/petrofac/’>Petrofac, Lundin, JX Nippon, Mubadala and SapuraKencana.
