
Saudi Arabia and Japan sign green energy pact
RIYADH, December 26, 2022 – Saudi Arabia and Japan have signed a memorandum of co-operation to develop carbon reduction and clean energy strategies, Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced on Twitter on Sunday.
Under the partnership, the two countries will co-operate in the fields of circular carbon economies, carbon recycling, green hydrogen and fuel ammonia.
The partnership was signed during a visit to Saudi Arabia by Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yasutoshi Nishimura.
