Sigma companies ink partnership with OEM Group

Sigma Enterprises Company (SOF) and Sigma Engineering Works (SEW), two Middle East-based oil and gas services companies that are part of the UAE’s Mazrui Energy Services, have signed an exclusive partnership agreement with UK-based OEM Group (OEM).

Under the terms of the agreement announced Wednesday, SOF will have exclusive region-wide rights to market OEM’s expertise in engine and generator services. The full scope includes diesel engine spares, service and repair, generator service and repair, full engine supply, testing, diagnostics, rebuild and refurbishment, hydraulic pump and motor repair and supply.

Meanwhile, the agreement with fabrication player SEW will provide OEM with a fit and build facility in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, situated on 22,290 square metres of land and with a workshop area of 13,824 square metres. This will enable the two companies to collaborate to provide in-house services including testing, fabrication and refurbishment.

OEM provides services to the oil and gas, marine and renewables sector in engine and generator repairs, servicing and testing.

“We have previously worked in the UAE so the partnership with Sigma Enterprises is a natural progression for the company,” OEM founder and managing director Barry Park said. “It is a mutually beneficial collaboration that brings together two ambitious companies enhancing both our capabilities in the region.”

“Sigma and OEM are a great pairing,” Olaf Grimm, general manager of both Sigma companies, added. “With the Middle East being a growth area for OEM, the partnership will allow us to combine and magnify our respective areas of expertise, thus showcasing the high level of service excellence we can deliver through this strategic business alliance.”
