Subsea 7 signs EPCI contract in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, May 27, 2022 – Subsea 7 has been awarded an EPCI contract by NOC Petrobras for development of the Búzios 8 field on the Santos basin in Brazil, the offshore engineering company announced on Thursday.
Works include installation of 126 kilometres of rigid risers and flowlines, 98 kilometres of flexible lines, 88 kilometres of umbilicals and associated infrastructure and FPSO mooring lines.
Pipelines will be fabricated at Subsea 7’s base in Ubu, Brazil.
Offshore operations are expected to begin in 2024.
The contract is worth more than USD 750 million.
