Subsea7 wins contract offshore West Africa
LONDON, May 21, 2025 – Subsea7 has been awarded a “sizeable” subsea contract in West Africa involving the transport and installation of flexible pipelines, umbilicals and subsea components for an FPSO connection, the company announced on Wednesday.
The value of the contract is estimated to be between USD 50 million and USD 150 million, as Subsea7 defines a “sizeable” contract within this range.
The contract also covers pre-laying activities for an upcoming drilling campaign, with project management and engineering set to begin immediately from Subsea7’s offices in Sutton, UK and Suresnes, France. Offshore activities are scheduled to start in 2026.

We are pleased to be able to support this client in executing such a strategically important project in West Africa,” Subsea7 vice-president Africa for the Middle East and Türkiye Jerome Perrin said.
