Tethys boosts revenue on Kazakh plays

ASTANA, August 20, 2014 – Tethys Petroleum increased its revenue to $7.1 million in the second quarter of 2014 from $6.8 million in the first quarter amid the public company’s promising shallow gas programme in Kazakhstan, Denise Lay, the chief financial officer, reported last week.

 

Tethys Petroleum is currently operating in the Doris, Akkulla and Kul-Bas fields, and intends to increase drilling activities in upcoming months to boost gas production.
