The Energy Year, GBCK renew strategic collaboration in Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, April 11, 2025 – The Energy Year and the German Business Council Kuwait (GBCK) have signed an MoU to extend their strategic collaboration in Kuwait and support the production of The Energy Year Kuwait 2025 report.
The GBCK is a non-profit organisation that fosters commercial ties between German, Austrian and Swiss companies and their Kuwaiti counterparts. Under the agreement, the GBCK will facilitate interviews with high-level executives from among its member companies and other key stakeholders to help gather strategic insights into the country’s energy landscape and industrial development.
The Energy Year will continue to provide access to a strategic platform where companies can raise their visibility in Kuwait and internationally, discuss the challenges and prospects of doing business in the country and highlight their key initiatives.
Signed between The Energy Year and Marion Chehab and Frederic Saada, board members of the GBCK, the agreement builds on the success of the parties’ previous collaboration on The Energy Year Kuwait 2024 report and promises to continue fostering engagement among domestic and international companies within Kuwait’s energy and industrial ecosystem.
The Energy Year Kuwait 2025 report is The Energy Year’s 10th edition covering Kuwait’s energy industry. It will be launched in H2 2025.
