LONDON, October 29, 2015 – Wood Group has been awarded a global subsea contract by BP, the UK-listed subsea services provider announced on Thursday. The financial details of the contract have yet to be disclosed.

The five-year contract stipulates that Wood Group Kenny, a subsidiary of Wood Group, will provide subsea services on BP’s subsea infrastructure located in the Gulf of Mexico, Azerbaijan, the UK and the Norwegian continental shelves.

The agreement follows a $250-million services contract signed in February between BP and Massy Wood Group, a company owned by the Wood Group and Massy Holdings. The contract covers BP’s Trinidad and Tobago assets, which include 13 offshore facilities and two onshore assets.
