Saudi jobs for WorleyParsons, McDermott

RIYADH, January 5, 2017 – WorleyParsons on Thursday announced the renewal of its general engineering services plus contract for work in Saudi Arabia.

 

The contractor’s contract with Saudi Aramco was extended by five years and includes three options for a 1-years extension. The agreement covers project management, design and engineering work.

On Wednesday, another contractor, McDermott International, landed a fast-track engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract. Its third-such contract from Saudi Aramco in 18 months, McDermott will install four jackets and three gas observation platforms offshore Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this week, Saudi Aramco handed Larsen & Toubro two EPC contracts. The work includes installation of four wellhead decks on the Safaniya field, the world’s largest offshore field, as well as upgrades to 17 offshore platforms on the Arabian Sea. Construction of four of the decks will be constructed at L&T’s facility in Hazira, India.
