Banco BIC

Banco BIC is an Angolan bank that finances hydrocarbons exploration, refining assets and power plants and lends credit to oil and gas services providers.

Founded in 2005 in Luanda, Banco BIC is a financial institution that has a dedicated department for its oil and gas portfolio which provides financial support and services and fosters commercial development for public and private companies. 

The drive for  innovative solutions has lifted up the bank as a leader in private-sector credit lending in Angola that aims to cover the entire energy value chain.

  • Insurance: Banco BIC set up a dedicated insurance entity, BIC Seguros, in 2014 that specialises in energy infrastructure developments.
