Newrest is one of the largest out-of-home food service and catering companies in the world. The Group operates in 52 countries, serving more than 1.5 million meals per day, and has more than 60,000 employees. For 2024-25, it reported a global revenue of around EUR 3.336 billion.

Newrest has also invested in digitalisation. The company’s app allows clients to see, for example, menus and how crowded facilities are. Internally, Newrest collects consumption data to enhance its service offer.

For the future, Newrest plans to bring its expanded service offering to new markets. The Group established itself in the USA in 2017. In 2024, it acquired fellow multinational caterer Compass Group’s operations in Mexico, Chile and Colombia with the aim of serving Latin America’s oil and gas and mining sectors, among others.
