Ghana, USA to raise upstream co-operation

ACCRA, July 6, 2018 – Ghana and the USA have signed a deal to increase economic co-operation with a focus on E&P, local media reported Thursday.
Ghanaian Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross signed the deal to encourage business ties in energy, infrastructure, industry and agriculture.
“We are looking to some more American organisations to take spots particularly in the upstream petroleum sector,” Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, deputy information minister, was quoted as saying by Ghana Business News.
