H2 Mobility raises $121 mln for hydrogen stations

BERLIN, March 29, 2022 – H2 Mobility has raised USD 121 million in an investment round to provide further hydrogen refuelling stations in Europe, the hydrogen fuel station operator announced today.

Hydrogen investment fund manager Hy24 is investing 76.8 million, with seven shareholders providing the remaining funds.

Investors include Air Liquide, Daimler Truck, Hyundai Motor Company, Linde, OMV, Shell and TotalEnergies.

H2 Mobility currently operates 90 hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany and intends to expand its network to 300 stations by 2030.

The EU is targeting a one-third cut on carbon emissions from transport by 2030 from 2019 levels.
