Iran and Russia partner to develop hydrocarbons assets

TEHRAN, July 20, 2022 – National Iranian Oil Company has signed an MoU with Russia’s Gazprom to develop key oil and gas assets in Iran, the NOC announced on Tuesday.
The agreement includes development of Iran’s Kish and Pars gasfields, boosting production on the South Pars field, development of six separate oilfields, completion of LNG projects, production of gas export pipelines and technological collaboration.
The report said the deal was one of the largest foreign investments in the Iran’s hydrocarbons sector to date.
