KPC signs agreement with TOGY

KUWAIT CITY, January 25, 2017 – On Monday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) signed a communications agreement with TOGY that will see The Oil & Gas Year Kuwait series of books and the TOGYiN platform report on the state-owned corporation as it manages the nation’s hydrocarbons reserves.

TOGY will highlight the strategic direction set by KPC’s 2030 vision for Kuwait’s oil and gas industry, covering major projects and services in the industry, as well as the target of producing 4 million bopd by 2020.

The deal underscores both parties’ ambition to further develop the international communications of a globally important oil player – KPC manages 6 percent of the world’s oil and gas reserves and is increasingly investing in oil resources outside Kuwait’s border. The company aims to achieve crude oil and gas production outside Kuwait of 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2020.

This new joint approach represents a new phase for TOGY, which has been publishing books on Kuwait since 2011. The upcoming edition will be its fifth.

The agreement was signed by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Manager of Corporate Relations Jamal S. Al Sanoosi, who is pictured (centre right) with TOGY’s Kuwait country director (far left) and country co-ordinator (centre right), as well as Shk. Jaber A. Al Sabah (far right).
