
Mozambique LNG sees FID
MAPUTO, June 19, 2019 – Anadarko Petroleum has reached a long anticipated final investment decision on the Mozambique LNG project, the company announced on Tuesday.
Mozambique LNG is a planned two-train, 12.88-million tonne per year onshore gas liquefaction plant designed to process gas from the Anadarko-operated Area 1.
“This is an exciting day for Mozambique and for our partnership, bringing us a step closer to making Mozambique’s first onshore LNG facility a reality,” Anadarko CEO Al Walker said.
