MEUDON, September 12, 2025 – Vallourec has secured a long-term contract worth up to USD 1 billion from Petrobras to supply OCTG products and services offshore Brazil, Vallourec announced on Thursday.

The supply contract will support Petrobras’s offshore operations between 2026 and 2029 and is the largest award, both in terms of volumes and revenues, since Petrobras shifted to open tenders.

Vallourec will deliver seamless pipes and VAM premium connections ranging from 4.5 inches to 18 inches, including carbon and stainless-steel tubulars, as well as accessories. The company will also provide integrated onshore and offshore services such as engineering, material co-ordination, rig preparation, offshore supervision and re-stocking.

“This achievement is a powerful demonstration of Vallourec’s ability to meet customers’ complex and evolving requirements. It confirms the strength and consistency of our positioning, built on technical excellence, an integrated industrial presence in Brazil and a long-standing partnership with Petrobras based on mutual trust,” said Vallourec chairman and CEO Philippe Guillemot.

Listed on Euronext in Paris, Vallourec is a global provider of tubular products and services for the energy industry with manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia and the Americas. In Brazil, the company operates production plants and service centres to supply Petrobras and other upstream operators.

In April 2025, Petrobras selected Vallourec for the supply of nearly 18,000 tonnes of seamless carbon steel line pipes for risers and flowlines for the Petrobras-operated Buzios 10 offshore project. The company has also recently won significant contracts from KOC in Kuwait, Sonatrach in Algeria and TotalEnergies in Angola.
