Saudi Aramco tenders new Safaniya phase

RIYADH, November 16, 2018 – Saudi Aramco has launched a tender for a new phase at its giant offshore Safaniya field, international media reported on Friday.
The project will involve a minimum of six offshore platforms and will be worth more than USD 500 million, sources told Upstream Online. The contract scope is set to include two observation decks as well, but these may be installed at a separate field.
The sources cited December 2 as the deadline for technical and commercial offers for development of the new phase.
