TechnipFMC awarded EPCI works in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, January 25, 2022 – TechnipFMC has signed a contract with Brazilian NOC Petrobras for EPCI works on its Búzios 6 field, the French integrated energy company announced on Monday.
The works include production and installation of flexible and rigid pipe, umbilicals, pipeline end terminals, rigid jumpers, umbilical termination assemblies and a mooring system on the pre-salt concession.
Flexible pipe, umbilicals and some rigid pipe will be manufactured in Brazil to minimise carbon footprint of the greenfield operation.
The contract is worth between USD 500 million and USD 1 billion.
