Australia

NEWCASTLE, May 15, 2024 – TechnipFMC has been awarded an EPCI contract worth up to USD 250 million by Woodside Energy to fabricate and install a subsea production system, TechnipFMC announced on Monday.

Under the contract, TechnipFMC will design, manufacture, and install the subsea production system, flexible pipe and umbilicals for the Xena infill well, which is intended to support ongoing production from the Pluto LNG project in Western Australia.

The project will use TechnipFMC’s Subsea 2.0 production system and will be tied back to existing subsea infrastructure previously supplied by the company.

This engagement is the latest call-off on the framework agreement between Woodside Energy and TechnipFMC. The value of the contract was not disclosed, but TechnipFMC indicated it lies between USD 75 million and USD 250 million.
