TOGY and Kuwait’s KDIPA sign MoU
KUWAIT CITY, July 18, 2019 – The Oil & Gas Year (TOGY) and Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) are pleased to announce that they have signed an MoU for the upcoming The Oil & Gas Year Kuwait 2019.
With this agreement, TOGY and KDIPA intend to promote the capabilities of the local oil and gas industry, further encouraging investor confidence in the market.
The MoU was signed by Assistant Director-General for Business Development Mr. Mohammed Mulla Yaqoub on behalf of KDIPA and Country Director Ms. Valentina Scarola on behalf of TOGY.
The TOGY Kuwait 2019 edition will illustrate the country’s steady efforts to ramp up hydrocarbons activities, underlining major opportunities and challenges in the local market. This year’s report will give special attention to KPC’s vision of driving the entire industry towards new and ambitious goals, maximising the country’s production and refining performance. It will also include views and commentary from the most notable leaders in the country’s oil and gas industry.
KDIPA promotes and regulates direct investment in the country. Its mandate is to attract added value and both foreign and domestic direct investments, showing Kuwait’s attributes, promoting the market as an attractive investment destination and providing full facilitation and aftercare services, as well as playing a co-ordinating role in streamlining the business environment.
