Trinidad and Tobago launches oil and gas bid round
PORT OF SPAIN, July 8, 2022 – Trinidad and Tobago has put 11 onshore and nearshore blocks up for bidding under its 2022 oil and gas bid round, the government announced today.
The 10 onshore blocks on offer consist of Aripero, Buenos Ayres, Charuma, Cipero, Cory D, Cory F, Guayaguayare, South West Peninsula Onshore, St. Mary’s and Tulsa, located in the central and southern onshore acreage of Trinidad.
The single nearshore asset, South West Peninsula Offshore, is located off the southern coast of the island.
The round will remain open until January 9, 2023.
Interested parties are required to pay a bidding fee of USD 30,000, which will allow them access to the country’s data package.
