ABERDEEN, September 4, 2023 – Wood Group has signed a new master service agreement and associated contracts worth USD 330 million for works on Harbour Energy’s North Sea operations, the multinational engineering and consulting company announced on Monday.

The five-year strategic partnership will include provision of EPC and operations and maintenance services alongside efforts to support the upstream company’s digital transformation and decarbonisation efforts.

The deal also includes five one-year extension options.

Harbour Energy’s operated assets include its J-Area, Greater Britannia Area, Solan, Armada, Everest, Lomond and Erskine plays.

The E&P player is the largest producer of oil and gas in the UK’s North Sea.

“We have worked on North Sea assets for more than 50 years and excel in designing and managing the complexity of energy infrastructure while at the same time seeking to minimise associated emissions,” said Steve Nicol, executive president of operations of Wood Group.
