Deloitte is a multinational professional services network that provides audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory and tax and legal services. It is active in a wide range of sectors, including consumer, energy, financial services, government, healthcare and technology. Deloitte provides its services through independent firms located in more than 150 countries, which together serve a global clientele. Along with EY, KPMG and PwC, it is one of the Big Four global accounting firms.

The audit and assurance practice conducts audits on corporate functions such as financial reporting and IT, and provides assurance services that cover accounting operations, corporate transformations, and sustainability matters, among others.

Consulting is Deloitte’s largest business by revenues. The firm advises on matters such as corporate strategy, operations, customer management and marketing, IT implementation and performance, and human resources.

In financial advisory, Deloitte provides corporate finance services and assists clients on M&A operations and restructurings before, during and after such events take place. The firm also offers services related to economic analysis and forecasting, financial forensics, and the appraisal and valuation of capital projects.

The risk advisory practice helps clients identify and assess risks related to accounting practices and internal controls, regulatory and legal requirements, IT security, brand and reputational capital, and climate change, among others.

Deloitte’s tax and legal services cover tax compliance and reporting, transaction advisory, employment and payroll, asset management and contract assistance.

Although Deloitte works primarily with corporate clients, the firm also extends its services to family offices, entrepreneurs and private shareholders.
