GeoPark

GeoPark is an independent oil and gas explorer, operator and consolidator with assets in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador.

In Argentina, GeoPark holds four adjacent blocks in the Vaca Muerta shale formation: the Mata Mora Norte producing block and the Mata Mora Sur, Confluencia Norte and Confluencia Sur exploration blocks. In Mata Mora Norte, the company is targeting production of 40,000 boepd by 2028.

In Brazil, the company has a non-operating interest in the offshore Manati field, whose reserves are estimated at approximately 1.6 million boe. Located in shallow waters, the field was producing at a rate of 893 boepd in Q1 2024.

The company’s Llanos 34 block in Colombia represents the most significant oil discovery in the country in over two decades. With gross production rising from zero in 2012 to 75,000 bopd in less than 10 years, the block produces approximately 8% of Colombia’s oil output. GeoPark has drilled more than 100 producing wells on the block. It encompasses 13 discovered oil fields, including Tigana and Jacana, which rank among Colombia’s top 10 producing fields.

Since 2020, the company is also present in Colombia’s Putumayo basin, with 2 million gross acres. The area provides additional exploration potential near production facilities and transportation infrastructure.

In Ecuador, GeoPark holds 33,000 gross acres in the Oriente basin, which is estimated to hold the third-largest reserves in the continent. Its Espejo and Perico blocks have been in production since the Jandaya 1 discovery on Perico, and production in Q3 2024 stood at 1,786 bopd.
