Myanmar Oil and Gas Week

This increased licensing activity is expected to boost exploration over the next few years, especially in Myanmar’s deepwater shelf, which remains mostly unexplored and  could match Britain’s North Sea before exploitation or Brazil’s reserves now.

The country is experiencing a rapid investment increase in its oil and gas industry, with the award of 16 onshore and 20 offshore blocks in 2013 and 2014 and a surge of investment of expected after the announcement from the national energy company Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise of the auction of nine offshore oil and gas blocks for exploration next year.

To find out which opportunities exist for your exploration company, attend the 2nd Myanmar Oil and Gas Week in Yangon.
