Eni ramps up Ochigufu

LUANDA, May 10, 2018 – Production from the Ochigufu project in Block 15/06 offshore Angola has reached its expected plateau of 24,000 bopd, Eni announced Wednesday.
The Ochigufu field is located at a water depth of 1,300 metres. The wells are connected to the Sangos production system and tied back to the N’Goma FPSO. Output began in March 2018.
The company said the next project expected to come on line in Angola would be the UM8 reservoir in the East Hub and the subsea boosting system for the Mpungi field, while the Vandumbu field would start production in 2019.
