Mozambique’s energy minister sacked

MAPUTO, December 13, 2017 – The president of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, has fired four ministers including Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Leticia da Silva Klemens, international media reported on Wednesday.
Former commerce minister Max Elias Tonela has replaced Klemens, Reuters reported. The ministers of foreign affairs, industry and trade, and agriculture and food security were also fired.
No reason for the reshuffle was provided.
