Navigating the Israeli-Egypt Gas Import Agreement

CAIRO, September 3, 2014 – Medhat Youssef, former Deputy chairman of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation last week called on Egypt’s government to import of gas from Israel.
Youssef claimed importing gas for the Damietta and Edco factories would be cheaper than other sources such as LNG.
